Meet Your Secret Weapon Against Breakdowns

We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality service. Here are the people working for you every day to repair your vehicle.

Rick Garrigan
Owner & Teacher
I was blessed with the opportunity to open my first automotive repair shop, Majestic Automotive Services, in October 2000. For nearly a decade, Majestic served our community with honesty and care—until the 2008 economic recession forced its closure in 2009. That was one of the most difficult times in my life.
But I’ve always believed that every closed door is God's way of preparing us for the next chapter. In 2010, I started fresh with Garrigan’s Auto Repair Shop, which has since grown into a trusted name in Tucson—built on faith, resilience, and a deep commitment to serving others.
In 2016, a key change happened—Thomas stepped up as our full-time shop manager. That opened up the door in 2017 for me to follow another calling God had placed on my heart: becoming the Automotive Technology teacher at Sahuarita High School.
Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to being a business owner—now managing two shop locations—but also to being a full-time teacher, guiding young minds through the world of automotive technology. My focus is not just on car repair, but on teaching life skills: honesty, integrity, hard work, and entrepreneurship.

Taylor Garrigan
Owner & Operator
Taylor has been a part of Garrigan’s Auto Repair for most of his life. He officially started working in the shop at 18, but his experience goes back to childhood, learning from his father, the original founder of the business. Over the years, Taylor has worked on all makes and models, developing a deep understanding of both mechanical systems and modern vehicle technology.
As an ASE-Certified technician, Taylor brings a high level of expertise and professionalism to every job. In addition to his hands-on technical experience, he also manages the day-to-day operations of the Speedway location, ensuring every customer receives honest, high-quality service.
When he's not in the shop, Taylor enjoys spending time with his wife, their four kids, and the family dog. He believes in treating customers like family and carrying on the same values the business was built on—integrity, hard work, and getting the job done right.

Thomas Guarino
Owner & Operator
I joined the Garrigan’s team back in 2015. With a deep passion for cars and a strong commitment to exceptional customer service, I found my place quickly as a service writer. My unique combination of hands-on experience in the shop and strong communication skills in the office allows me to bridge the gap between technicians and customers—making complex automotive issues easy to understand and helping people feel confident in the care their vehicle is receiving.
Over the years, I’ve grown with the shop and have become deeply invested in its success. In 2025, I was honored to be granted partial ownership of Garrigan’s Auto Repair—a milestone that reflects the hard work, honesty, and dedication I bring to the job every day. I strive to serve every customer with respect and to show them they’ve found a shop they can truly trust.
My journey with Garrigan’s began over 10 years ago, when I started working alongside Taylor—my best friend since high school—as a mechanic. The values and environment at Garrigan’s immediately resonated with me. It was more than a job—it felt like home. Today, I’m proud to be building my own legacy here, while continuing to uphold the values and traditions that Rick Garrigan founded the shop on.

Alan Polick
Technician
Alan joined the Garrigan's family right after we moved to this Golf Links location early 2019 and proved not only his ability as a mechanic and technician, but his ability to stick it out even when times were a little tough. Alan is our Go-To Tech when the older vehicles enter our shop. Alan has a Quality minded soul and makes every effort to be as meticulous as possible in his repairs and services. Aside from his unending love of his 4 kids, Alans other love is his 77 Square Body Chevy Blazer that he has been restoring.
